Associate Marriage and Family Therapist Under Supervision of Milia Mahfoud Staggs, LMFT Hello, my name is Lauren and I am an associate marriage and family therapist. I have worked in the field for over ten years. I have primarily worked to support individuals who have experienced trauma, mental health crisis and daily struggles. I have a passion to help people figure out what is or is not working for them and how they can realistically begin to find coping skills, self awareness and draw from life experience to gain understanding and start to overcome their challenges. My therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from various modalities to meet their unique needs . My goal is to help people make sense of all the unknowns by creating a safe, supportive and down to earth, collaborative environment so that we can work together in finding your path to wellness so that life looks more like what you want. As a therapist, I realize that sometimes we do not have the words or really even know what we are looking for, I am dedicated to helping people gain better understanding. I love to cook, taking care of the many plants I have collected over the years. I love being home with all my animals. I enjoy being outdoors, paddle boarding or sitting at the beach and listening to music.
