Hi, I’m Nelson. I’m an Associate Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges, especially when things feel heavy, overwhelming, or uncertain.
I work with adults who are facing anxiety, depression, or navigating personal growth after difficult life circumstances. I also specialize in supporting individuals in recovery, including those who’ve completed rehab or are working to maintain their sobriety and create a life that feels stable, healthy, and intentional. Whether you’re feeling pressure to stay sober, worried about relapse, or unsure about what’s next, we’ll build tools together that support your wellness, resilience, and long-term recovery.
Therapy with me is a collaborative space. You get to set the pace, define your goals, and talk about what matters most to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and parts work (IFS), always tailoring sessions to meet your unique needs.
I also follow the Recovery Model, which focuses on your strengths and self-defined progress, not a one-size-fits-all path.
I aim to make therapy a safe, respectful space where you can explore, heal, and grow without judgment.
If you’re new to therapy, that’s okay. We’ll start wherever you are. My goal is to help you build skills, feel more in control of your life, and connect to the version of yourself you’re working toward.
I got into this work because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to face setbacks and still want more for your life. Therapy with me isn’t about judgment or pressure. It’s about creating a space where you can be honest, build resilience, and start feeling like yourself againor maybe even discover who that is for the first time.
