Therapy hours: By appointment Monday to Friday

Christine Sarkissian, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Accepting new clients Monday to Friday
Although we live in an individualistic society, each individual, with their unique personality and life purpose brings something extraordinary to the table of life.
Each one of us is part of a bigger collective and we are responsible for constantly striving to mature and progress on an emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual level.
As a result of these beliefs, I utilize a humanistic approach (striving to help people uncover, address, reprocess, and heal from their trauma to meet their highest protentional); while seeing healing through a holistic lens (working to help individuals heal by reconnecting mind, body and spirit).
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Using bilateral eye movements (or other bilateral dual attention stimuli) we activate the information processing system in the brain, unlocking the original pictures, sounds, thoughts and feelings experienced during the traumatic event.
Once unlocked, the eye movements may help to process repressed trauma.
The key to healing is not walking towards the light, rather walking through the darkness within your mind, heart and soul. You have the power to turn darkness into light.
Together, we will identify the challenges (the mud) and will work towards transforming the suffering you feel into happiness.
Together, we will watch you (the sacred lotus) bloom.
